LION HOTEL, SHREWSBURY - NOVEMBER 2007

CELLAR We were shown the cellar area during a guided tour by the hotel owner Mr Howard Astbury. We didnt manage to pick up any energies but the area was definitely very eerie. There are tunnels leading to this area from nearby buildings but, over time, they have all been blocked off. ROOM 209 Several members of the team picked up an energy moving around them during the meditation. Camcorders were set up but, as yet, nothing unusual has been found. KITCHEN Neil was immediately drawn into the storeroom where he and Kris picked up the energy of an older woman. They described her as stocky in build with tightly curled white hair and it was felt that she wanted both of them out of my kitchen. She wanted them to leave through the storeroom wall indicating there may have been a doorway there at one time. Both Neil and Kris felt themselves being physically pushed out of this area. Les then spotted a dark shape on the kitchen steps leading down into the main kitchen area. LION ROOM Many orbs were picked up here on camera, especially in the piano area. RESTAURANT While holding a vigil in this area Neil and Kris picked up on the energy of a very pretty young lady who had long dark hair and was wearing a long dress. Neil then felt a touch on his head and Kris felt the sensation of someone stroking his face. While Tina was seated she felt the sensation of someone touching her finger and lightly stroking her forehead. She sensed a female standing by Kriss right shoulder who was smiling down at him. She mentioned something about Kris that was verified by him as a real incident form his childhood. ROOM 421 Kris picked up a presence in the corner of this room who frequently sought sanctuary here from the main hustle and bustle of the hotel. BALLROOM This was definitely the most active place in the hotel. Many orbs were picked up both on the camera and with the naked eye. Dark shapes and shadows were spotted by several team members in the seated area. Several members held vigils in this area and heard unexplained footsteps and voices. One particular incident happened towards the end of the investigation when Les, Mel and Tony called out and heard a reply from the stairs leading to the ballroom. Camcorders were set up in the ballroom but, again, nothing unusual has been found to date. Many staff members reported various incidents of unexplainable sightings and unusual sounds around the hotel during their time there. HOWEVER, SEVERAL TEAM MEMBERS HAD EXPERIENCED DARK SHADOWS MOVING ABOUT THIS AREA DURING THE INVESTIGATION.
