KING'S NORTON PRIVATE INVESTIGATION 2 - MARCH 2008

Following our initial visit Gho.S.T. members Tina and Kris were joined by Gav and Melissa to hold an overnight investigation to try to gain some understanding of recent events that had taken place in this private residence in Kings Norton. An update of recent developments took place whilst sitting in the back room on the property and Tina and Kris were aware of a presence in the hallway that appeared to be listening in on the conversation. It was thought that this was the spirit of a female who was responsible to moving objects and for the voice heard around the house on several occasions. We then prepared to hold a séance in the kitchen area with Tina, Kris, Gav, Melissa and R (property owners daughter) around the table. Almost immediately, we were aware of a loud banging on the ceiling above us and footsteps on the stairs. On investigation, we found no one on the upper floor who could have caused the disturbance. After a second loud bang on the ceiling, two family members went upstairs to try to detect the cause of the noises. Tina was aware of a 'shape' walking past the kitchen window that was verified by the famly as a regular occurence without explanation. When the séance started Tina and R were immediately affected by a strong male presence standing very close. It became very cold and Tina, who was sitting next to R, sensed the presence was angry and wanted to communicate with R. The cold atmosphere and the strong presence also affected Melissa who was also sitting next to R. Kris attempted to communicate but the presence turned his back on him. Tina asked the presence to back away from herself and R and after a some considerable time he did so. Tina was quite short of breath, felt pain in the left side of her upper chest and developed a cough during the seance. She also picked up the name Sarah that was linked to a recent tragic event for the family and was told of open-heart surgery which was verified by the property owner as a recent development for another family member. Other information, including a Goldthorne Park link, was forthcoming which the family verified but the main message was thought to be for R and was concerning her wellbeing. Unusual noises were heard behind R during the beginning of the seance and no reason was found for the disturbance. A couple of people reported cobwebs on their faces during part of the seance. The two family members on the upper floor reported nothing unusual and no banging noises where heard while they were upstairs. Following the séance, we tried to decipher the information and reach a conclusion of the events taking place. It was thought that a message was intended for family member R. We held a further séance with R flanked by the property owner and Kris but the presence appeared weaker and was felt to be standing back. R and several others felt cold again but felt the presence to be less threatening. Tina was aware of the presence continually walking up and down a path but he was unable or was unwilling to move forward. It was thought that he may be satisfied that we had understood his message and had reached the correct conclusion. Shortly following the seance Kris reported that he felt the presence could have moved on. We would like to thank the family concerned for their friendly welcome, hospitality and for allowing us to spend time in their home.
