TINA WRITES... I have been told this story today by a friend at work. She used to live in the public house opposite St Mark's church when she was a child. One evening, while her mother was closing the upstairs curtains, she shouted down to her husband to have a look at something unusual at the church. Her husband couldn't see anything but she could see a woman with long dark hair wearing a white bridal dress and veil standing in the doorway of the church with her veil blowing in the breeze. Her husband thought she was seeing things and dismissed the incident. My friend's mother went on to see this apparition twice more before they moved premises but her husband could never see anything. Spooky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ..................... SUE WRITES... Discussing ghosts at work. Place is definitely haunted. At night a draught is felt as if someone is walking past and perfume is smelt. I know identity of person. Person in another place cannot settle is very aggitated said someone is with them but is not seen, I also know mystery persons identity. In another place man's face is seen peering through window at person in room, Identity unknown. No need to mention workplace as you know where it is. I have spoken to you about it on phone. Spooked work colleagues out but not me. ............... GRAHAM JENKINSON WRITES... My wife and I were sat in the lounge of our flat when she suddenly asked me what I was lookin at ? I told her that a lady had just appeared in the corner of the room and was proceeding to walk through the door, My wife is a sceptic about the paranormal but what made her jump was that it was Christmas time and behind the door the lady went through was a motion activated Santa which went off at the same time, I thought it was cool because I was part of a paranormal investigation group called Spiritual Renaissance so I know that what I saw was real, My wife however remains a sceptic. ............... SUE WRITES... About 9 or 10 years ago, I was walking up Clee Road in Dudley with my daughters. We were just going past the beginniing of the green railings that fence off the cemetary when all of a sudden something pushed me out of the way. There was no-one by me so whoever pushed me couldn't be seen. Someone buried in the cemetery obviously was in a huury to go down Clee Road! Also two years ago I was sitting in my front room, There were no doors or windows open when somebody blew into my ear. There was nobody else in the room only me. I was not in the least bit frightened as I knew who it was and even said "Hello, how are you?" to him. It was my late husband. Ghosts do not worry me as I am a firm believer in life after death and have received evidence. The living are more of a threat. ............... CHRIS CHARLES WRITES... Two years ago, my cousin Donna and her family came over from Dublin for a long weekend. As we hadn't got the room to put them up we suggested they stay at the Station Hotel in Dudley as it was only a stones throw from where we live. They went with the suggestion and the following is a brief account of what happened to them. Whilst there, they picked up on the fact that the hotel had a mysterious history. Donna left her camera phone on charge until it was fully charged. She then decided to go upstairs to have a look at the area that was supposed to be haunted with the intention to video the area. She went to a door that was open and presumed that cleaners maybe in the room. She is pretty sure that the room number was 217. She tried to activate the camera phone but it refused to boot up!! She knew that the battery was fully charged and therefore tried again. At least this time it went to the main menu of the phone but yet again turned itself off!! Later on in the night I picked them up to come to our place. Whilst in the car, she attempted to switch her phone on yet again but this time around it booted up without any trouble and was usable straight away. Can anyone explain that? Just thought I would share that with you Tina. .......... ANDREW BEARD WRITES... When I was about 8 years old I went with my old school Timbertree on a visit to Haden Hill House and it was the day I discovered I was sensitive. We were going through the house and we had been every where apart from the Attic. My friend and I decided to investigate this part ourselves. As we started up the stairs I thought I could hear something like a boy crying. I opened the door to the attic and felt a very cold icy blast. Then I saw a little boy in Victorian clothing sat crying in the corner. Suffice to say I left very quickly! When I told my teacher she didn't believe me and they went up there and found nothing. But it dosen't end there. As we left we walked around the back of the house and I happened to look up at the back window to see the infamous White Lady of Haden Hill in the window looking straight back at me. She was there one minute... then gone! I have never been back but I can't wait for a return visit.. .......... MIKE SMITH WRITES... I was looking through the pictures on a website that showed some of the pictures you had taken of Haden Hall. I used to work there as a trainee plasterer and have seen and heard some strange things but now that I don't do that kind of work anymore I don't have access to the places I used to have when I worked there. In the cellar if you enter from the servants quarters door, the first room was a holding cell. I had no strange sights in there but felt as if I had been starved and beaten and very scared.(Strange I know and would not blame you if you deleted this right now.) Then you enter a big room in the middle of the cellar where the original part of the house was built, no strange feelings but the sense of someone watching everything you do, also a feeling of someone standing close and threatening. Then you have to go down a slopping tunnel. On the right hand wall I have the feeling there is another room but it has been bricked up. Some of the brickwork is separating from the original wall and has not been properly jointed like real brickwork should be. When I was working there the managers had some mediums in and they stood in the room directly above where I feel there is another room and they told them not to dig there as there is EVIL under there. Is there anything possible to use to detect if there is another room under there and how do I get permission to look? Thanks for your time hope I haven't freaked you out. I am quite sane. Lots of other things happened there to like tools going missing children running about and laughing, but thats all too much for me I get scared thinking about it now. Thanks Again Mike Smith
